Bulldogs Fall to Panthers

The Boys Freshman basketball team opened their season on Wednesday at home against North Central.  After a hot start for the Dogs, a late first half run gave the Panthers a 7 point halftime lead.  Hot shooting in the third extended the Panthers lead but the Dogs fought hard and got the lead to single digits in the 4^th.  In the end, the Dogs fell 53-35.  Willis Smith led the team with 10 points and 5 rebounds, followed by Nick Ponti with 8 points.  Tabyas Grant added 7 points and 5 assists.  The freshmen are back in action on Tuesday when they host Zionsville.
