Brownsburg lost to Zionsville in the Sectional Final 44-41 on Friday in a game that came to the final moments.

Zionsville scored first, but Brownsburg was close behind with a Luke Lacey touchdown to tie the game at 7.

Donovan Marcus gave the Bulldogs the lead early in the second quarter with a touchdown of his own.

Isaiah Higgins recovered a Zionsville fumble on the next possession which eventually set up another Marcus touchdown.

A Zionsville touchdown and field goal cut the lead to 21-17.

An Isaiah Higgins touchdown catch (on offense) extended it once more and led to a halftime score of 28-17.

Luke Lacey caught a 42-yard pass early in the second half that set up the third Marcus touchdown of the night and extended the Brownsburg lead to 18.

Zionsville scored two touchdowns in a row to cut Brownsburg's lead to 35-30.

A long drive ended in a Preston Terrell touchdown, making it 41-30.

Zionsville scored two touchdowns in a row to take a 44-41 lead.

Brownsburg got the ball with 50 seconds to go but couldn't get in field goal range.

The Bulldogs end their season with a record of 7-4.
