Brownsburg beat Zionsville 54-14 in a game the Bulldogs led early and often on Friday.

Preston Terrell caught a 39-yard touchdown catch on Brownsburg's first possession, his first of three touchdowns in the first half.

Two of the next three Brownsburg drives would also end in Terrell touchdowns, 3 and 30 yard catches respectively.

Zionsville scored near the end of the first half to bring it to 20-7. They were close to scoring again but a key Jakobi McGowan pass breakup on third down forced them into a field goal attempt that ultimately missed.

It took Brownsburg nine plays into the second half to extend their lead to 27-7 on a Ben Easters 2 yard rushing touchdown and they never looked back.

After an Isaiah Street sack on third down gave the Bulldogs possesion back, Donovan Marcus scored on a 1 yard rushing touchdown.

Zionsville answered with their own touchdown, but Marcus came right back with a 79 yard touchdown run to give Brownsburg a 40-14 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Devin Jones and Brayden Davis each scored rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter - a 39 yard run and a 2 yard run, respectively - to bring the final to 54-14.

Brownsburg is now 5-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play. The Bulldogs are back in action on Oct. 11 at Noblesville.
