Bulldogs Improve to 7-0

Your 6A #2 ranked Bulldogs scored points, points, and more points as they put up 70 points against the 5A #9 ranked Eagles of Zionsville, winning by a score of 70-52!

The prolific offense was led again by RB Donnie Marcus with over 300 yards of offense and 4 TDs, WR Bryce Kirtz adding 2 TDs, and sophomore QB Ben Easters tossing it around the yard to the tune of nearly 300 yards passing and 4 TDs.  The offensive scoring was rounded out by WR Luke Lacey making a brilliant 34 yard TD catch over the Eagle defender.

On defense, the Bulldogs struggled at times with Zionsville's talented offense.  However, near the end of the first half, the defense got involved on the scoring themselves by getting "pick-6s" on back to back plays!  The first interception returned for a TD was by Luke Lacey, playing defensive back from his normal WR spot.  Then on the next defensive play LB Cade Shupperd stepped in front of a pass, picked it off, and scampered down the sideline for another Bulldog TD.

Please plan on coming to Roark Stadium this Friday for the game against Noblesville.  It is the final home game of the regular season!  There will be lots on the line, as the Dogs look to keep their unbeaten season in tact, as well as guaranteeing at least a share of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference title for the third straight year with a win.  We look forward to seeing everyone Friday night!  The support this year has been incredible and the team looks forward to another successful night.
