Football Beats Fishers

Your 6A #2 ranked Brownsburg Bulldogs took to the road, travelling up to Fishers to win a hard fought battle against the Tigers by the score of 27-20.  It was an incredibly difficult game, but thankfully the Bulldogs came away with the victory.

The Bulldog defense was once again terrific, scoring a defensive touchdown on a fumble recovery in the end zone and consistently stifling the Tigers offense.  Junior Cade Shupperd controlled the game from his linebacker spot, as the Fishers announcer had to get tired calling Cade's name on what seemed like every tackle.  He had an incredible 15 tackles and recovered the fumble in the endzone for a defensive touchdown.  It was a dominating game for Cade, and the rest of the defense was right behind him making plays all night.  Lawson Aiken and Anthony Lawrence also had fantastic games.  

On offense, once again junior Donnie Marcus was incredible, rushing for over 250 yards and 3 TDs.  Much credit for Donnie's success goes to the offensive line, who took a challenge at halftime and put the game on their shoulders.  Austin Moore, Jalen Cox, Pete Nygra, Garner Menchhofer, and Jason Meeks created lots of holes and lanes for Donnie to dominate.

The team cannot wait for the upcoming homecoming battle against Westfield!  We look forward to seeing everyone at Roark Stadium this Friday!
