Bulldogs Roll Past GrizCubs
The Varsity Football team battled mother nature and the Franklin Grizzly Cubs this weekend and came out on top (after a delay or two) by the score of 68-7. On Saturday morning the Dogs came out ready to go scoring 10 touchdowns, 3 in the air, 6 on the ground and 1 by the defense. Ray White, Hunter Johnson, Tyler Kirtz, Cameron Martin, Sam Hoffa, Toks Akinribade and Joey Sturgill all scored TD's for the team while Devin Steinman and Ryan Everton took care of the extra points. Akinribade secured his name in the record books with his 41st career touchdown, which breaks a 60 year old record! The defensive effort was led by Sam Hoffa, Ricky Clark and Nathan Walton. Hoffa scored on a 65 yard scoop and score fumble recovery after a big hit by Devin Parrott. The team will travel this Friday night to play that team down south, kick off is scheduled for 8pm.
