Brownsburg basketball players Ally Becki, Mackenzie Bedrick, Allison Bosse, Malek Edmonds, Luke Lacey, Connor Lucas, Mackenzie Stein and Pierce Thomas received All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference honors for the 2019-2020 boys' and girls' basketball seasons. Becki, Bosse, Edmonds, Lucas and Thomas were each selected as an All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference First-Team honoree.

This follows a season that saw the Brownsburg girls' and boys' programs combine for the most wins of any single HCC schools' basketball programs. The two teams, who combined for a 42-13 record this past season, both came away with a Hendricks County and an IHSAA Sectional championship. The Brownsburg boys were crowned Co-Hoosier Crossroads Conference champions in 2019-2020.

Brownsburg was tied for the most All-HCC selections of any team in the conference. Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern also had a total of eight selections.

This year marks just the third time that the Brownsburg boys' team featured three All-HCC First Team selections in a single season. The program also had three First Team honorees in 2004 and 2018. It's also the 16th time in the 20-year history of the HCC that the Brownsburg girls' team has had multiple All-HCC First Team selections.

For Becki it is the third consecutive All-HCC First Team selection of her career. The 5-foot-8 junior only added to her versatile reputation during her junior campaign. Becki averaged 11.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.0 steals per game this season. Becki averaged the most rebounds of any guard in the HCC this year. She also led the conference in assists per game and was second in steals per game.

Bedrick was a key cog in the starting lineup and helped the Bulldogs hold their opponents to a defensive average of just 42.4 points per game this year. Bedrick is a glue-player for the Bulldogs and averaged 2.9 rebounds per game and 1.9 steals per game this season. It's the second straight All-HCC Second Team honor of Bedrick's basketball career.

Bosse closes her Brownsburg career with a third straight selection to the All-HCC First Team. She was the driving force in the scoring column this year for the Brownsburg girls with a per-game average of 16.9 points. Bosse hit the most threes of any HCC player this year while shooting 37% from behind the arc. The 5-foot-7 shooting guard was also recently selected to the 2020 IndyStar Indiana All-Star team.

Edmonds was honored with the first All-HCC First Team selection of his Brownsburg career this season. This year's First Team honor follows selections to the All-HCC Second Team the past two seasons. Edmonds was the second-leading scorer in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference with an average of 17.1 points per game for the Brownsburg boys. His average of 7.5 rebounds per game was also second in the conference.

Lacey is another Bulldog to be selected to the All-HCC Second Team. Lacey averaged 3.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game this season for the Brownsburg boys. Each of those statistical marks are the best during his time as a Bulldog. He recorded the first double figure scoring performance of his career in a 55-43 win over Plainfield on January 11.

Lucas' All-HCC First Team honor is the first postseason award of his Brownsburg career. Lucas shot a career-high 35% from deep and was tied for the third-most made threes of any player in the HCC this year. He averaged a career-best 11.8 points per game for the Bulldogs during his senior campaign. Lucas set career highs in points per game, rebounds per game, assists per game and steals per game this year.

Stien received the third straight All-HCC second team honor of her Brownsburg career this season. Stein averaged a career-best 8.6 points per game for Brownsburg during her senior campaign. She reached double figure scoring in 8 of Brownsburg's last 12 games heading into the IHSAA Regional at Decatur Central.

Thomas averaged a career-high 13.6 points per game this season and earned the second All-HCC First Team selection of his career. Thomas also averaged 6.4 rebounds per game and 4.9 assists per game for the Bulldogs this year. He reached double figure scoring in all but four games this season. Thomas shot 45% from the field including a 36% mark from behind the arc in 2019-2020.
